It was originated by Kat Sloma of Kat Eye Studio. This is the fourth year. Kat is a proponent of printing your digital art and sharing it. There is a learning curve in printing, I am a beginner. My ducks are not all in a row yet! Last year was my first year to participate. I ordered my post cards from moo.com. 8230;glass, color, and abstract art.

Photography, Gardening, Contemplative Creativity…. A Post Card Swap. September 15, 2014. So I am going to work at getting caught-up on a couple of posts that are very late! I’m a bit ashamed I didn’t do them in a more timely manner. So here is my first. Back in May, I swapped post cards with Chandra at Pics and Posts. I love when the leaves start to fall in autumn, to reveal the stately form of the trunk and the elegant meandering lines of the branches. This entry was posted in Journaling. Enter your com...

Photography, Gardening, Contemplative Creativity…. Apples, Lemons and Sunshine. November 23, 2014. I swear they were left over from last year! Going Forward, Giving Back. Skip to primary content. May 10, 2013. This is the first year I’ve participated in the Liberate Your Art. Postcard swap. Such a very cool idea! I have absolutely loved it, it was such fun to receive artwork in my mailbox from all over. The swap, organized by Kat Sloma from Kat’s Eye Studio, consists of sending Kat 5 postcards along with postage and address labels. She receives postcards from all over the world (1290 of them! The first postcard I received was from Sassy. Deanie...

Photography, Gardening, Contemplative Creativity…. October 23, 2014. I have been remiss with my blogging this year. A couple of events that took place, I have delayed in sharing! My last post was one and now, finally, this! Back in January I was re-reading some posts and the accompanying comments. I visited some of my commentors blogs. Becs, of Catching Sundust, was one of those blogs. It was early in the morning and I was the first to read her post. So I’ll tell you about it – Luscious! Here is a link.

Photography, Gardening, Contemplative Creativity…. November 11, 2014. 8220;Let your discipline wear away the veneer of your patience…” A quote from Julie DuBose at Miksang Life Blog. I’ve always accused myself of not having any self-discipline! That’s not true…. I trained myself, I learned. And now, eight years later (2014), I’m still doing both. 8211; waking up a sleeping passion! Then came Kim Klassen. And Contemplative Photography…. This entry was posted in Image and Words. Liberate Your Art Post Card Swap. I participated in the annual LIBERATE YOUR ART postcard swap recently. Unfortunately my computer crashed mid April and I was only able to pick it back up yesterday. I missed being part of the bloghop to visit all the participants blogs. I thought I would share my post cards sent and received anyway. I found this stamp and put it on the backs of my postcards:. Creativity is Contagious. Pass it on." Albert Einstein. This card was labeled "Layered Autumn" by Kat Sloma.
