This is Our Life. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Wow, it's been a while. Our new kitty that must be related to our cat Tau because they look identical. Baby Kitty just showed up one day. Rolling down the hill at Fred Meyer Gardens. He got his 1st black eye right before his 1st birthday:(. 3 cousins around 3 years old. Such fun! On Friday at 4:30 we packed up the kids and headed to "the country" according to Emmory. We went to a small pumpkin patch in Lowell. If you can go on a Friday at 5:00 you have the whole place to yourself. It was great! I would highly recommend Heidi's Farm Stand. We had a private wagon ride through the corn, woods, and along the pumpkin patch.

This is Our Life. Friday, May 1, 2009. Hopeful, yet cautious. So I've learned some new information about adoption from South Africa this week. It sounds like Bethany will soon have an adoption program there. I'm overwhelmed with emotion, but trying to stay level headed. This is Our Life. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. On the way home from church on Sunday, Kaden exclaimed, "Look, butterflies, so buttery! I love that little guy:). Here are some more of Kaden delights. This originated when he came with me to the OB office for prenatal checks with Jack. The doctor always used a little round tape measure to see how big the belly was getting. One visit my doctor left the room and Kaden exclaimed, "Come back with my baby." Funny boy. This is a good way to remember some of these things.

My baby is 9 months old today. Where has the time gone? In the last month she has changed from a baby to an explorer. She is on the go! Aliya is moving all over the place and loving it! This is Our Life. Friday, April 17, 2009. Today I called Matt to find out that he'd still be at work for a while. I went into the other room, Kaden followed me and asked me what I was doing. I replied, "I'm grumpy because Daddy has to stay at work longer". He replies, "I can make you feel better Mommy". "I love you Mommy". Yesterday I asked him how many seats his wagon had. This is Our Life. Friday, December 11, 2009. There's Hope For Treatment of Moms. I read an excellent article in Parenting Magazine today about perinatal mood disorders and the opening of America's 1st inpatient unit specifically designed for moms suffering from them. What a step forward. Europe and Australia have had units like this for a long time. I'm so thankful for the care that I received at Holland Hospital, but know that our society has a long way to go to really help moms. Life on Shoshone Street.
