We’ve decided to do a simultaneous phone / tablet launch for Mini Metro. This is for two main reasons. Firstly, the tablet market is tiny compared to the phone market. Secondly, we didn’t want to have a confused launch by staggering the releases. We’d rather announce that we’ve launched on iOS. Rob’s been noodling away on the next map (São Paulo) and zen mode this past week. We hope to have them both, along with some other fixes and changes, up in beta4 later this week. A new table: a proof of concept for multi-level tables. It’s a rough cut to try out two sets of flippers. The idea is that there’s a high risk/high reward upper table with really wide set flippers, and if you lose the ball, you can still recover it on the easier, narrower table. In an attempt to shorten the aiming learning curve, I’m displaying a prediction line when the ball is resting on a flipper.
