Colleen found out they were expecting, their first child. It was literally the cliché “it was the best of times and the worst of times” David stored sperm so that after his cancer treatment they could still continue their much anticipated family. David passed away weeks before the birth of their daughter Susan. In 2006 when Susan began asking for a sibling Colleen unselfishly went through.
