But presented today is a slightly different form in that it is a female - male Jugalbandi, the first ever in the history of Dhrupad.

We maken ons nu op voor de tweede editie van het Dhrupad Festival Nederland. Dit zal plaatsvinden op 8 en 9 maart 2014, wederom in RASA, Utrecht. Op de programmapagina vindt u de line up van het aanstaande festival. Ik kijk niet alleen uit naar de concerten van gerenommeerde musici, maar hoop van ganser harte ook u weer te mogen begroeten. Op 1 en 2 februari 2013 vond het eerste Dhrupad Festival Nederland plaats. Hoogtepunt van het festival was het concert van de 80jarige Ustad Fariduddin Dagar.
