Thursday, October 10, 2013. As many of you know, I've been interested in photography for a long time, but I never felt confident enough to go out and really do it. I've been thinking of taking some online courses for a few months, but then came across an add in our county paper that advertised photography and photoshop classes at the high school for a much more affordable rate. Monday, February 10, 2014. Physical love proceeds emotional love and other seemingly backwards philosophies. Is your heart bursting? I'm still loving reading and journaling about this book on mothering. I had to share one more thought that Saydi Shumway had in the Love chapter of Deliberate Mothering. Sunday, October 26, 2014. What Keeps Me Smiling. Mariah and I have been playing a lot of hide and seek lately. But she hasn't quite grasped the concept. When I start looking for her she shouts, "here I am mommy! And the majority of the time she is in the exact same place (the closet, though that is an improvement from her old hiding place: sitting in the middle of the room). When she has to look for me she shouts, "Mommy where are you? A couple weeks ago she was telling Tanner and I all about her muscles.

Monday, February 20, 2012. Loved the beach here. So warm, water was perfect, everyone had a great time. I just love this picture. Allan had a lot of fun. I think he was glad John was there because Alex got in the water but still wasn't very playful in it. John was. Trinity was too funny. She would play in the sand get covered in the sand and say need to be washed off. As soon as she got washed off she was back at it. She loved it. Alex helping the in the process. Trinity working on the girl sand castle!

Sunday, May 24, 2015. As a Farmer/Rancher's daughter I really try hard to be grateful for "moisture". But these last two weeks have gotten real old. Especially with toddlers. Thankfully Mariah and Chet both have rain boots so we still get outside a lot. They are pretty soaked by the time we are done, but the smiles and long naps make it all worth it. I love when I can capture moments like these.they're rare but oh so sweet. Chet ate it that day, but it didn't seem to slow him down. I need my violin back!

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. A thought on the spirit. She drifted in and out of sleep and stayed in a light sleep even when the big noises would come as long as I was there with her. Every few thunders, she would reach her little hand up to my face to make sure I was there.
