Thursday, 28 February 2013. Pruning - Rosa virginiana. I finished pruning the Rosa Glauca. Then moved onto Rosa virginiana,. Offcuts - the red really stands out but they have olive green stems too. Three roses and a viburnum. Weather: 8°C. Rainy to begin with, much milder than it has been for a while. The sun finally came out. Mutabilis' in the middle of the bed. Mutabilis' now known as Rosa. Friday, 16 August 2013. Planting up the Exotic. Weather: It went up to about 16°C apparently, but felt colder. Worked with gardener Graham to clear an area in the Exotic garden for planting, taking up old Hedychium. Plants and some very old roots of a Yucca. Lidt havehistorie og Kjeld Slot. Tirsdag den 26. maj 2015. Haven er bare så frodig og skøn lige nu! Jeg vil vise lidt billeder fra bl. a. haven og engen. Overvintrende voksurt - er det ikke fantastisk, og så lige i år, hvor jeg ikke har sået nogen sommerblomster! Udsnit af engen (som vi såede sidste juni) med jordkulen. Engen med prærieliljer og pinseliljer, som jeg lagde i efteråret. Søjlepoplerne vokser lystigt i deres rør. Tirsdag, maj 26, 2015. Mandag den 18. maj 2015. Alting grønnes og springer ud.

Lidt havehistorie og Kjeld Slot. Tirsdag den 16. juni 2015. I den gule have skal der efter planen laves en rund terrasse. Cirklen har længe været afmærket, og vi har smidt brokker og andet fyld derhen. Vores grund skråner meget, og terrassen skal selvfølgelig være vandret, så det kræver en solid kant rundt. Vi har i lang tid snakket frem og tilbage og haft mange forskellige overvejelser mht. materialer, udformning. Og også pænt, synes vi! Lidt havehistorie og Kjeld Slot. Fredag den 10. april 2015. De sidste par weekender er gået med klargøring af have og drivhus. Drivhuset er rengjort med vand og brun sæbe. Ukrudtet er fjernet ved takshækkene, og de har fået naturgødning. De fire staudebede med græsser er renset for ukrudt og klargjorte - mangler kun at klippe sommerfuglebuskene ned. De første kartofler er lagt. Grønkålen strutter af sundhed lige nu. Pinseliljerne og prærieliljerne i engen, som jo har været så meget igennem, lover godt!
