Seventy Five: Coffee cake
http://no75.blogspot.com/2011/08/coffee-cake.html
A random trail of diy and (mostly) other things. Wednesday, 10 August 2011. I promised to post the recipe. So here goes. Please note, this recipe isn't mine - it's from my well-used and dogeared copy of Regional and Traditional Cakes. Apologies, but here in the UK we don't really use cup measurements for baking. This conversion site. 225 g caster sugar. 225 g self-raising flour. 4 large eggs, lightly beaten. 50 ml dissolved coffee granules/water. For the butter cream filling and topping. 225 g icing sugar.

http://inthelittleyellowhouse.blogspot.com/2010/06/paint-colors.html

But I'll hold back. Living room: rockport gray. Dining room: salisbury green. Upstairs hall: edgecomb gray. Main bath: guilford green. Master bedroom: palladian blue. Nursery/Guest room: *hollingsworth green (a lighter version of salisbury green). Im totally snagging ...

Back At Work |

May 11, 2011 in Uncategorized. As if you hadn’t noticed already, we’ve been taking a bit of a break around here. Or at least a home improvement break. There has been a lot going around here including side projects and family visits which has left us with zero time to DIY. Not only DIY but more specifically finish the kitchen. Last we left off, we were looking a little something like this. How do people have matching dishes that can be displayed on open shelves? In case you forgot, our Lagan butcherblock ...

Mike + Mo: Izzy Ears
http://mike-mo.blogspot.com/2011/08/izzy-ears.html
Friday, August 26, 2011. Iz will be 5 months Sept. 4th. How in the world did my little girl get to be 5 months! And at the same time, these 5 months seemed like forever.) (Don't ask me how. but yeah). So at her 4 Month check up, Iz got shots (that gave her a small temp the next day) and her ears pierced. Yes I know. she is only 4 months old, I'm mean. BUT this is how I figure. 1 She will not remember the trama of getting her ears pierced. Posted by Mike Mo. August 26, 2011 at 10:13 AM. SHE IS SOOO CUTE!

Mike + Mo: August 2010
http://mike-mo.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I have been begging Michael for months now to take the Hoover Dam Tour, and there has always been some good reason not to go. This weekend my cold finally gave up in torturing me, I wasn't nauseous, and it wasn't too hot, So we went! We parked on the Arizona side, its free! We didn't know it at the time but this is a Spillway. It originally was one of the diversion tunnels they made to build the Dam. Another angle of it. Isn't this guy sweet? This is where the tour spit us out.
