We started birding about sixteen years ago, and our interest in photography has grown, and is now almost obsessive. Most of the images on the site have been taken locally in and around the Fylde and North-West UK. We would unreservedly recommend the f/4 300mm af-s lens, (especially for flight shots). The other two lenses however, although undeniably sharper than the f4 have weight and cost issues that have to be considered. Photos and Content David Moreton.
