http://tuesdaymachine.blogspot.com/2009/02/again-meme.html
The Terrible Tuesday Machine. Thoughts on My Children, Autism, and Finding Peace. Monday, February 23, 2009. Again, a Meme. I'm not really sure the point of this meme. Do people really care what books I've read? 1 Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen X. 2 The Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien X. 3 Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte X. 4 Harry Potter series - JK Rowling X (almost all). 5 To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee X. 6 The Bible X. 7 Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte X. 8 Nineteen Eighty Four - George Orwell.

Just a couple of Shipsters: Why even have a blog?
http://shipsters.blogspot.com/2008/12/why-even-have-blog.html
Monday, December 15, 2008. Why even have a blog? Wow, I am a lot more terrible at this blogging thing than I expected. Who would have guessed? To make up for my lack of news, how about some nice Christmas decor photos! This a sled and reindeer handmade by Mike's grandpa (many years before he passed away). It was handed down to us from Mike's mom this year. And check out this gorgeous sunset as we were finishing up our lights! I guess we can't compete with what God can do. :). Your house looks so festive!

The Terrible Tuesday Machine: Perspective
http://tuesdaymachine.blogspot.com/2009/03/perspective.html
The Terrible Tuesday Machine. Thoughts on My Children, Autism, and Finding Peace. Monday, March 2, 2009. One of my favorite quotes is:. Two women looked through prison bars. One saw mud, the other saw stars. As we were driving today - a rare day with blue sky and white puffy clouds - my 3 year-old remarked from the backseat:. That cloud looks like garbage.". I kid you not. There are many variations of this quote out there. This particular version comes from. The mind of Henry. a universe unto itself.

http://shipsters.blogspot.com/2008/10/disneyland-is-magical.html
Friday, October 3, 2008. As mentioned in a previous posting, Mike and I took a road trip in August with a couple of good friends, Simeon and Alli. Yes, the four of us stuffed all our luggage into Mike's Toyota Echo and all piled in for a 17-hour drive down and back. And we are all still friends! Here are some highlights:. Mike, Kate, Alli, and Simeon at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was sooo HOT! About to take off on an old wooden roller coaster at Six Flags. Much fun followed. Alli and Kate looking tough.

Just a couple of Shipsters: November 2008
http://shipsters.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 1, 2008. It's that time of year again. We didn't get them new costumes this year, but I think they're getting used to the capes. Tannen actually wore his without too much complaining the whole night! Unfortunately, we didn't nearly as many kids trick-or-treating this year, so the dogs weren't at all interested in being door greeters. They just laid around in their outfits all night. Not very impressive superheroes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Just a couple of Shipsters.

Just a couple of Shipsters: June 2008
http://shipsters.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 23, 2008. My project of the week. Last Monday I woke up, went out to the kitchen, looked at the gross yellow walls and decided I'd had enough! No longer would I be subjecting myself to someone else's bad taste in paint color. And I don't care if we haven't started remodeling, I am painting over these awful, dirty mustard walls! And what's most surprising is. I actually did it! And here's the outcome - a much nicer, more mellow, calming blue (which I matched to our dishes). I realize all ...

Just a couple of Shipsters: March 2008
http://shipsters.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 20, 2008. The Flu, Friends, and Bathroom Paint. So remember how last week I was hoping not to get sick before my interview? Well, my wishes didn't pan out, and I ended up with a 101 fever early Wednesday morning, a few hours before my interview. I had no choice but to cancel, hoping they'd be willing to reschedule and spent the rest of Wednesday sleeping. Thankfully, I had enough strength to make it in for the interview Thursday morning (somehow) and got the job! Tuesday, March 11, 2008.

The Terrible Tuesday Machine: January 2009
http://tuesdaymachine.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
The Terrible Tuesday Machine. Thoughts on My Children, Autism, and Finding Peace. Thursday, January 29, 2009. Would you please pray for us? Monday, January 26, 2009. I've been tagged by Mandi to post 25 random things about me. At least I think I have. I've got a pretty common name. Anyhow, here goes:. 1) I interned in a juvenile detention facility and I liked it. 2) I've been enrolled at 6 different colleges, but only have a 2-year degree. Someday I'd like to change that. 15) I love roller coasters.
