I’m not scared of flying and don’t worry about accidents or getting injured. I worry about everything in between that. I pack at least 2 days in advance of any trip, no matter how short, I carry 3 copies of every receipt, booking confirmation, boarding card and tickets and really wish that I could get a backup set of train tickets. So I began a Japan list of things to see, do, and eat before I left. Last week I went to see Himeji Castle. Feed the deer in Nara. Smoke shisha, drink flaming cocktails at Cafe Absinthe, and eat okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki was the best I’ve ever eaten and sooo worth the journey alone! Not good, do not want! Must get rid of this food baby!
