I'm doing it my way. The journey of a single lesbian creating the family she's always wanted. Ultrasound came back normal →. I am 31 weeks 4 days today and had one of my regular midwife appointments. She measured my fundal height and it was 36cms! Shocked and slightly concerned I asked her to repeat it! She then said “you’re measuring 36 weeks but it’s ok because you are currently 34 weeks.”. I'm doing it my way. The journey of a single lesbian creating the family she's always wanted. 7 weeks 2 days pregnant. Baby girl -19 weeks 2 days →. It’s a girl! I got my results from my Harmony test today! I am at the lowest risk for all trisomys tested for, and I found out I’m having a baby girl! I’m in absolute shock! I don’t know why exactly, as there was a 50/50 chance regarding the sex, but when the woman on the phone said those words it just all became so real! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I'm doing it my way. The journey of a single lesbian creating the family she's always wanted. Ultrasound came back normal. 35 weeks 5 days →. Threatened pre term labour. It has been an interesting few days to say the least and it’s not quite over yet! The doctors couldn’t really explain why it was so stop and start, but they decided to send me for an ultrasound today and then discharge me around 3pm. I'm doing it my way. The journey of a single lesbian creating the family she's always wanted. It’s a girl! I got my results from my Harmony test today! I am at the lowest risk for all trisomys tested for, and I found out I’m having a baby girl! I’m in absolute shock! I don’t know why exactly, as there was a 50/50 chance regarding the sex, but when the woman on the phone said those words it just all became so real! In 6 months time I’ll be welcoming a baby girl into the world. My baby is one month old!

So I was lucky enough to score a cancellation appointment today and got my scan done. I didn’t get to see much of baby as the place I went to didn’t have a second screen for me to watch, and they didn’t have 4D or print any pictures😦 I did see baby briefly and I can’t believe how squashed she is in there already! So I began a Japan list of things to see, do, and eat before I left. Last week I went to see Himeji Castle. Feed the deer in Nara. Smoke shisha, drink flaming cocktails at Cafe Absinthe, and eat okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki was the best I’ve ever eaten and sooo worth the journey alone! Not good, do not want! Must get rid of this food baby!
