Friday, July 20, 2007. Turning Lemons into Lemonade. It's been a slightly rough past few days. Have you heard about. This thing that happened. In New York on Wednesday? It happened at 41st and Lexington. Guess where my office is – 41st and Lexington. I wasn’t there when it happened fortunately. Why? When I learned on Wed night that the office would be closed on Thursday, I decided that the following day would be all about. Dollar and A Half Cardigan. Me so I shelved it. Until now. Under normal circumstan...

http://hither-n-yarn.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Knitting in the shadows of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. I'm making good progress on the Zara Empire Shell - but the neck ruffle is going slow because it's about 400 stitches around, and I'm only about 2/3 done. Will it be finished for me to wear on Friday? Well, in theory anyway. Friday, November 24, 2006. A Walk in the Park. I tried to talk Princess into taking the walk with us. But she just gave me that "you want me to do what? Gee, I hope that'...

Hither-n-Yarn: Ghostly Mountains
http://hither-n-yarn.blogspot.com/2007/07/ghostly-mountains.html
Knitting in the shadows of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sunday, July 08, 2007. The valley is full of smoke today, I guess it's from the huge fires in southern Utah. So what do you do on such a hot, smoky day in the valley? Leave it for the mountains, of course. If you can find them, anyway. Today they were barely visible through all of that haze. I hope you are safely away from the fires! The fires are heartbreaking! It's amazing how it doesn't look hazy in the mountains.

Right Sides Together: Fall Creek Falls
http://rightsidestogether.blogspot.com/2010/10/fall-creek-falls.html
Sewing, Knitting, Reading with other domestic happenings. Thursday, October 14, 2010. We took a nice long weekend vacation to Fall Creek Falls State Park in Pikeville. A beautiful Tennessee bird bath. The trees were just starting to turn. The day time temp was in the high 80s, so it was perfect for being out and about. The falls were running a bit slow because of all the dry weather recently. It had been 30 years since my last trip, but the trail is just the way I remembered it. Hard. . .

Knitting in the shadows of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. Saturday, October 28, 2006. Sneaking In Some Knitting Time. My sister's on her way home, and I did manage to sneak in a little knitting time while she was here. This is (hopefully) the start of my cashmere wrist warmers. I'm designing the pattern, and I'm. Hopeful that the size will work out. I've done a lot of test knitting and frogging, so I hope this one will be the real deal. Wednesday, October 25, 2006. But not much ...
