Domestically Dreaming...: September 2011

http://domesticallydreaming.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 6, 2011. These are amazing pancakes. The pumpkin pie spice in both the maple syrup and the actual pancake batter gives this dish such nice flavor. The two syrups, one maple based and the other cream cheese/sweetened conduced milk are smothered or gently piled upon these pancakes, making them truly mouth watering. These are so perfect for a crisp fall morning. What a way to say, "welcome fall, welcome." :) Enjoy. 1 1/2 cups flour. 1 1/2 tsp. apple pie spice. 1 tsp baking soda. Get out y...

Really yummy flavor and we've made it a few times. which means we like it! You can substitute 2 to 3 cups sliced radicchio or chopped escarole for the arugula. Add it to the fry pan along with the onion and bell pepper. 8 small or 4 large hot or sweet Italian sausages,. About 1 1/2 lb. total weight. 1 cup dry white wine. 2 Tbs olive oil. 2 garlic cloves, minced.

Creative dance starts again. Annabelle was so excited! It was so funny to watch her the first night this time around. Now she acted like one of the "bigger" kids in class. Knowing all the dances, wanting to be the leader, and just much more confident. Such a big contrast from her humble beginnings at her first class last session. :). Well the Christmas rush is over. I feel like I can take a deep breath now. For some reason Christmas came so fast this year! I have had no free time to even check my blog, stalk other people's blogs or play word twist on my facebook. I spent a week or two babysitting down by my parents.when I returned home I was playing a crazy game of catching up on laundry (scary how much laundry 3 people can go through? Wow, well I can hardly believe Brad and I are actually crazy enough to consider buying our very first home! Its so exciting and at the same time it feels like were handing in our "kid" keys and becoming adults :) We looked and searched in different areas for places to buy. I spent countless hours on craigslist. Obsession) looking at fixer uppers and some houses built before Joseph Smith time. no, not really that old but like 1900's ish. MD We wanted a place to call our own. Hagerstown. Is just the place!

Home Health. Happiness. Our Consciously Created Home. In the honor of pumpkin everything, and the fact that I had the ingredients readily available, I made this bit of amazingness. One of my biggest pet peeves is when recipes don’t first tell you what temp to pre-heat the oven, and what type/size pan to use. So…325 for lightly greased, glass 9″ pie pan. 1 Can Sweet Condensed Milk (could use the lower fat version, lower sugar version etc.I will try whole fat coconut milk next time to make it #whole30).

Saturday, February 06, 2016. My friend Jennae, the creative behind Hux Goods, sent me a few items from her shop recently and I wanted to share because they are good. So good. The first items she sent me I use daily. I mean, every. Single. Day. They're gentle, don't leave creases and come in many different colors and patterns. She also sent me a couple of great headbands, one of which I rocked for the Super Bowl and most of the Seahawks games! Thank you Jennae for sharing your talent! We're hoping the car...
