Monday, July 27, 2009. Today's summer activity was making homemade applesauce. When we were visiting Lorin's Aunt Linda in Vermont, she had some homemade applesauce. The kids loved it! I think Lindsay loved it at first site because it was pink (made from red apples)! So I ran accross a recipe to make it from your crock-pot, we are in business! It was quite easy! Here's a picture of the after. I thought it was quite delicious and to know all the ingredients were natural makes it even sweeter!

Dailey News - Mom's Spot. Sunday, January 11, 2009. I just read my last 2 blogs and realized that I didn't even acknowledge. My husband in either one of them. SHAME ON ME! Eric did A LOT through the holidays and for Emma's birthday. I mean, do you really think I strung up all those outside lights on the house? And HE was the one that baked and decorated all the cupcakes for Emma's class! He has worked very hard over the last 6 weeks and deserves a little credit too! Attempt at being a type A personality!

Dailey News - Mom's Spot. Sunday, October 24, 2010. First Day of School pictures 2010. Erin began VPK this year and Emma started 1st grade! The first day went off without a hitch - no tears were shed by anyone and we quickly fell into a school-year routine! Erin attends VPK at the same pre-school she has been going to since she was 2, so this wasn't much of a change for her other than she has Ms. Cynthia as her VPK teacher (who also taught Emma and we LOVE her).
