MichiganKuhlman: October 2009
http://michigankuhlman.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Some perspectives on life in Northern Michigan of a Buckeye who's heart is wherever he happens to be. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. We leave on November 11th and return November 15th, late in the evening. On the way we do have a lengthy stay-over in Houston, but we will probably catch some sleep and head out early for Honduras. Mary is in the process of getting out of school for the trip. She is hoping that it will be easy, and that it will help her Spanish classes at Kalkaska. Wish us luck, pray for us.

The assembly was like all the other assemblies, except on Monday evening Paul played golf at a local Lansing course with several friends. The assembly ended on Tuesday morning. Angela is doing fine...

Some perspectives on life in Northern Michigan of a Buckeye who's heart is wherever he happens to be. Monday, June 21, 2010. We are in the middle of Vacation Bible School, a program sponsored by four local churches in Suttons Bay. We have the largest group of kids in a long time- 101. We are missing Pastor Don, from Keswisk United Methodist Church. He has been sent down state. Sorry to see him go, but Pastor Robin and I are taking up the slack, and things will go well. Monday, June 21, 2010. Paul E. ...

Some perspectives on life in Northern Michigan of a Buckeye who's heart is wherever he happens to be. Monday, June 22, 2009. Monday, June 22, 2009. What has gotten into the Michigan Kuhlmans. I do not know what is happening, but we have been active like bees up here in Michigan. I am not sure if it is the SAM-e that we are taking, or just the fact that the worse winter of the century has finally come to an end, but things are happening up here. Out of breath yet? Monday, June 22, 2009. This is funeral we...

Some perspectives on life in Northern Michigan of a Buckeye who's heart is wherever he happens to be. Friday, July 31, 2009. What, August already? Mary and I are reflecting on retirement. I will be taking a course at Luther Seminary, Minneapolis, in September to train me for interim ministries. We are thinking seriously about retiring in or around Suttons Bay. At least that is the thought of the week. Been looking at houses in the area and thinking about what to do during winters up here.

MichiganKuhlman: September 2009

Some perspectives on life in Northern Michigan of a Buckeye who's heart is wherever he happens to be. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Back to the grind already? I guess I shouldn't fret so much. After all, it is still the middle of September. But you will remember that we got buried last year in October, and it did not go away until April. That is way too long. Heck, the youth even went to a Corn Maze at the end of October, and we had to walk it in the snow. Yuck! May God be gentler on us this year!
