We kayaked with the Crooks family in Orca Cove while in Ketchikan, and although we saw no marine life, we did spot several bald eagles. The Kessers and my other sister, meanwhile, went to a wildlife refuge where they watched countless bears feeding on salmon in the river that day. In Juneau, the two of us had a day of fly-fishing. News from virginia beach. News from v.b. 2006 started out with Suz continuing to be extremely busy with work. Having forfeited our vacation the previous fall because of work, there was no way we were giving up our annual ski trip. This year's destination was Park City, Utah, where we enjoyed four days of skiing at three of the area's resorts and one day of what can be called none other than Adventures in Snowmobiling.
