Doyle Bikes the US. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Day 11 - Averaged 15.6 mpg. Day 11 was long, 97 miles, but we had a nice tailwind for much of it which made the day much easier. Even so, I was very tired at the end of the day and had a very sore knee. The last two pictures are of the gorge as we rode into Twin Falls. It is an amazing view. Day 10 - Averaged 16.8 mph. Doyle Bikes the US. Sunday, July 31, 2011. The last pictures are Gary, Jeff and me under the New York sign. About the same time we got to the hotel, Kim arrived and it was great to see her. We plan to hang out tomorrow and then hit the road again on Tuesday. Tomorrow we bike back to the US crossing the border at Niagara Falls. Doyle Bikes the US. Saturday, August 6, 2011. There are also pictures of myself at the first rest stop and Kim and I at the second. Kim brought treats to the second rest stop and is a real hit with the riders. Today she brought mini-chocolate bars, a chocolate cake and banana bread.
