I was so excited before the VO2 max test that I felt like I had drank 2 cups of coffee even though I only had water. It was such an adrenalin rush! I had to fast before the test, only drink water.so that is just another example that proves the body is an amazing thing! I had the jitters all from excitement! Body Fat % = 13.9%. Sunday, August 24, 2014. Celebrating 20 Years Mountain Running. In 2014 it's already been 20 years since I got hooked on mountain running. I've already celebrated this summer by finishing Lavaredo Ultra Trail. 119km and Eiger Ultra Trail. Mountain crystal finisher award I received after Swiss Alpine Marathon 1995. I spent the summer 1995 in Switzerland training around Walensee, Melchsee, Davos, Saint Moritz and several other fantastic locations. I also finished four tough and steep races that summer:.

Saturday, April 26, 2014. Haltiavuori Lost and Found. On Wednesday I ran about 18 km (11 miles) trail loop in the forest through Haltiavuori (Elf Mountain). At home I noticed that my phone was lost somewhere along the way. I had not used it at all, but I had messed with my backpack to take photos with my Canon and to eat some snacks. Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Run to the hills. A nice run to the hills today! Sunny, but icy. In December the sun doesn't rise too high in Finland. All the boulders were covered with a thin layer of ice. A pond reflecting the blue sky. Nice sunny day for trailrunning. The blue ice made uphills more challenging. The north faces of the hills were often snowy like this. This short but steep uphill is one of my favorites in the hood. Ran it 8x. Nice boulders and tons of rowanberries. Steep hill, thick woods.

ATR refers to All-Terrain Running (the one with a road outsole is Stinson Lite). This Stinson Trail update features the same full length HIP-CMEVA midsole with a 'Late-Stage Meta-Rocker Geometry' and seamless SpeedFrame upper. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Ecotrail Oslo 80km Race Report. Stormy weather in Oslo the day before Ecotrail. Back in Oslo that is.
