Midget Seracing | Ice Bella: Adventures in all things ice, rock and snow
https://icebella.wordpress.com/2011/06/10/midget-seracing
Ice Bella: Adventures in all things ice, rock and snow. Our midget serac. Hey ice climbers can't be too choosey in June! Have you every INTENTIONALLY dug out a crevasse? Now I can say I have. Very surreal for a mountaineer to do, usually your avoiding them like the plague. Then there was digging out low angle ice. One needs ice to practice crampon technique. We had to find some, and it was all very inconveniently under feet of snow. So we dub, and dug and dug somemore. Send me a few stories. Fill in your...

Mountains and Water: Video of Valhalla V7
http://www.mountainsandwater.com/2009/05/video-of-valhalla-v7.html
Friday, May 8, 2009. Video of Valhalla V7. I took a short trip to Flagstaff yesterday evening after an epic week of paper-writing was over. After doing Don't Touch the Glass V7 and falling off the very last move of the V9 Nook's Rock Traverse, I did Valhalla, a great steep V7 with a committing last move. Conditions were summery to put it mildly. The video doesn't do the angle justice but it may help others interested in finding this problem. May 8, 2009 at 4:56 PM. Chip, what are you up to these days?

Free in our bonds. Each of us luminous. Friday, July 15, 2011. Where: Tannersville, NY. Sorry I've been so light on the posting these days, I'm having quite a lull in the creativity department. I took a couple of nice things over the weekend though, so I'll try to get those up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This work by Gwendolyn F. Powers. Fixed and Flowing: November 2011
http://fixedandflowing.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Free in our bonds. Each of us luminous. Friday, November 11, 2011. Such a beautiful couple of days! It was so nice to get a little bit of relief from the wind and cold, but it seems that's back on the menu today. This baby had better come out soon, my warm jacket is only going to fit over my belly for so much longer! Thursday, November 10, 2011. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. I finished your hat! Your head will be all warm, and also pretty. So you can come out now! Really. Right now.
