Friday, May 4, 2012. Thursday, May 3, 2012. For Alex I focused on his usage of individuals set against plain backgrounds, and more simplistic colors and editing techniques. For Carlos I really wanted to make a .GIF, but things didn't work out. So I used this motion shot of him, a sort of homage to his GIF work. He used a lot of black and white and simple shots, much like this one. For Ian a did a close range shot, as he loved working with minimalism and focusing on small details. View my complete profile.

I continued with the same themes, and focusing on simple colors and negative space in the compositional aspects of my work. I also shot some in the rain, which provided some really good lighting. For this draft i tried to focus on lighting alot more. some of my previous pictures were off and blurry because i was not in the right lighting. I also payed attention to my angle and how the shadows were incorporated into them. many of these picture became stronger when i was editing them and black and white made them even stronger. I started with the figures i used before then i tried to incorporate paper dolls then moved to legos. My brother helped to stage the figures then i took them. I left the lego ones to mysterious and a little blurry to give it life and motion. Monday, April 30, 2012. I used the effect tint to create the orange background with the other shades of orange fading into the middle of the photo.
