Photography: Explorative Portraits 2nd Draft
http://drewphotoemma.blogspot.com/2013/05/explorative-portraits-2nd-draft.html
Thursday, May 2, 2013. Explorative Portraits 2nd Draft. For this draft i tried to focus on lighting alot more. some of my previous pictures were off and blurry because i was not in the right lighting. I also payed attention to my angle and how the shadows were incorporated into them. many of these picture became stronger when i was editing them and black and white made them even stronger. Photography: April 2012
http://drewphotoemma.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. Emily uses negative space in a unique way while allowing the foreground to become prominent. Her perspective on her subjects shows emotion and another side to them you would not see normally. Isaac’s photos appear surreal once he is finished with them, a result of his careful and creative editing process. He manipulates the look and feel of a photo through various effects and in the end they seem to hold a hidden message behind them. Haley has a sense of repetition and pattern in ...

http://drewphotokyle.blogspot.com/2013/02/sketchbook-style-experimenting.html
Friday, February 1, 2013. This week, I wanted to experiment with a style of repetition and depth. I also edited by using curves to edit the saturation and lighting, something I have just gotten into the habit of doing with my photographs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Plan for the Week. Thursday, August 30, 2012. All these photos I took while walking around the neighborhood. My goal was to capture the unrecognizable landmarks we see everyday, and capture them in a different perspective. In my second photo I tried to get up close to the gate from a side view angle to capture the feel and texture of the gate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Friday, May 18, 2012. In this assignment we used macro mode on our camera to create a difference between focus in photos. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Cara usually goes for a kind of gritty photo so i tried to capture alt eh textures in this photo by giving it high contrast and getting the textury wall in the background. Grace usually takes her portraits dead on so i did that just like her and to add some of her weird style i tilted the photo as well. Maria goes for a very high contrast she also used street signs so I did both and it looked really good. Roxie uses a lot of great reflections so i used that in her portrait.

Thursday, April 16, 2015. In this series I used a similar filter for every street photo trying to make it into a cohesive series. This is also a part of my mistakes series due to the interesting nature of some of the photos that I took. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Thursday, February 5, 2015. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. In this series I used a slow shutter to capture the motion of certain objects. In most of my photos the slow shutter captured the movement of light which has a very nice look to it.

My favorite series that Zaina did was when she photographed random people on the street. it captured many diffrent aspects of peoples personalities. They best part was the viewer was able to create what emotion was being expressed in the photograph because we did not know the people in the photo. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Friday, April 30, 2010.

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Sunday, May 20, 2012. Me, Myself and I. Thursday, April 26, 2012. The inspiration for this photo came from the Eliza's series that dealt with playing with light, shadows and contrast. She also takes photos from unique angles, so instead of the generic full face photo, I took it from a heightened angle. Aubrey's photos are very unique in the way that he approaches them. For this photo I choose make it black and white, like many of his photos, and have a sort of double exposure t...
