http://drewphotoleo.blogspot.com/2016/11/artist-statement-so-these-photos-vary.html

Monday, November 7, 2016. So these photos vary because I was trying some different things. Some of them I tried a silouhette edit but that didn't total work. This next batch Im going to try some different pictures that blend with the background a bit more. November 8, 2016 at 7:17 PM. I like th people reading books and doing weird moves while jumping. November 8, 2016 at 7:18 PM. It is really cool how you were able to capture the idea of stopping time, and did an okay job with the silhouettes.

Friday, March 18, 2016. Bet of the Series. Wednesday, March 16, 2016. I continued the project by trying to give some of the images a more abstract feel such as the tree in image 6 almost doesn't look like a tree. Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Thursday, September 29, 2016. Symmetry, Asymmetry, and Balance. Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Monday, September 12, 2016. Artist Statement: In this batch of photos we learned about and created three types of images. First one was arrangement of lines. The easiest way to think of this is if you take the photos away will it still stay the same? Friday, September 2, 2016. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Drew Photography Leo: October 2015

http://drewphotoleo.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 30, 2015. Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Thursday, October 1, 2015. Symmetry is the same image mirrored from on side of the image to the other. This is everywhere in the world and our eyes are made to look for it. Asymmetry is when one side of the image is higher then the other. A good example of this is a hill. Finally balance is when both sides of the picture have to same amount of subjects on both sides. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Drew Photo Marley: Portfolio

http://drewphotomarley.blogspot.com/2016/12/portfolio.html

Monday, December 5, 2016. While putting together my portfolio, I looked selected images where human emotion was in it's rawest, purest form. These 8 photographs show the various emotions that people experience throughout the day: joy, sadness, worry, etc. Once I found models, I disappeared within the classroom; the wall that is put up while taking a photograph was removed, allowing me to capture unguarded persons. Friday, November 18, 2016. November 19, 2016 at 7:05 PM. I really like your use of shadows in this batch of photos, it make the subjects even more interesting. November 20, 2016 at 10:05 AM. These photos are incredible and I believe that the black and white gives so much extra life to the photos. I believe that you should play with light and the shadows. November 20, 2016 at 4:52 PM. I thought that making the photos in black and white made them more authentic, which helped accomplish your artists goal.

http://drewphotoarmon.blogspot.com/2016_11_01_archive.html

Welcome to Armon Naraghi's Blog! Friday, November 18, 2016. Artist statement: For this draft, I wanted to focus on making all my photos have a black background. I also wanted to experiment with the models being different, such as the bird, and having both Ciro and Tristan as subjects. The main challenge for me was trying to make the sketch match the drawing and make it seem a part of it. Friday, November 11, 2016. Fall Series 2nd attempt. Friday, November 4, 2016. http://drewphotodeclan.blogspot.com/2017/01/for-this-series-i-wanted-to-take-photos.html

Wednesday, January 11, 2017. For this series I wanted to take photos that related to each other for example I took a photo of Marley's shoes and pants and then his shirt and when put in the same frames it made it look like his outfit . I did everything in black and white except the plants because i felt there was more detail without the black and white. January 17, 2017 at 7:42 AM. I like the black and white it unifies the pictures. January 17, 2017 at 8:06 AM. January 17, 2017 at 9:49 PM.

Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Artist Statement- This batch is of my best images from this series. I choose these photos because they closely resemble the work of Slinkachu because of the way they are interacting with the surronding images. The figurines also look like the fit in the image but are clearly not real people or animals. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. http://drewphotobenb.blogspot.com/2017/01/b-multi-frame-collages.html

Ben B - Photography Blog. Friday, January 13, 2017. B&W Multi Frame Collages. This project was focused on the multi frame. January 16, 2017 at 9:41 PM. I like how all of your photos look like an illusion, which is very similar to Tom Young so you did a nice job on that. I also like how you kept the color in some of the photos because it still looks mysterious and vintage but also makes the photos more interesting. January 17, 2017 at 7:46 AM. I like the vintage feel of it all its very nice.

Friday, November 11, 2016. Artist Statement: For this batch of photos I used the feedback from my classmates and teacher and shaded my sketches darker. I feel that I accomplished this and it made the overall photo much better. This was the main thing I was focusing on this batch in an effort to improve my photos. November 15, 2016 at 1:20 PM. I think you did a really good job at making the photos more creative by changing them in different ways. November 15, 2016 at 2:10 PM. November 15, 2016 at 2:11 PM.

Wednesday, January 11, 2017. For this series, I didn't necessarily want to explain my thought process behind every multi-frame because I felt the series would be less meaningful. In terms of visual recipe, I played around a lot with the manual focus and different kinds of light and shadows. I'd like to leave the theme of these photos open for interpretation, which is why there's only an artist statement for this series. Friday, December 9, 2016. Friday, December 2, 2016. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Sasha uses a lot of contrast in her photos. Most of her photos are black and white. Her photos are very elegant and she likes to use the rule of thirds. I had her look directly at the camera because her models did that and it made the photos look very real. Stefan usually does black and white photos with a lot of contrast. In his portraits, he photographs his models from the shoulders up and in the center of the picture. He uses a white background. I decided to include two picture...

I made Zephy's portrait bright and clear, to portray all of the fun and exciting colors that she uses in some of her work. For our final project for this semester we were instructed to take 8 images and experiment with filters and see what kinds of image we can make. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Ingrid tends to capture contrasting emotions in her style of photography. I felt like this photo really mimicked Ingrid's style of photography because it captures a more natural, candid side of Ingrid and a more serious side of her as well. Hadley tends to take a more natural attempt on her photos. I thought that this photo really conveyed the more natural and lighthearted side of Hadley.
