Sunday, August 24, 2014. I bought 25 pounds of Hatch Green Chiles last night. Hubby got up and started roasting them at 7:30 this morning while I slept in. Lucky me! I cleaned all of them and we froze them in snack sized baggies then put those in a gallon freezer bag. It should be enough for a year. We still have one big bag in the freezer that we bought last Christmas when we went to Clayton to visit family. This is what 25 pounds of cleaned chile looks like. It's about 2 gallons. Tuesday, December 25, 2012. I've worked on menus with Plan to Eat. I've been using it for less than a month but I like it. It lets me store all of my recipes there and I just drag and drop the recipes on the day that I want to use them. It lets me export my shopping list to a file that I can upload into my Out of Milk. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Today was Experiment Saturday! 1 Can Always Save Cinnamon Rolls. Heat your waffle iron, spray with non-stick spray and put one cinnamon roll on each square. When the waffle iron says they are done use a fork or spatula to remove them from the iron and cover with that wonderful, sugary frosting that comes in the bottom of the tube. These are really a hit when the boys have friends over because only Rockstar Mommies make cinnamon rolls on a waffle iron. For my first experiment.
