Vegan@Large: Miscellaneous Updates
http://veganatlarge.blogspot.com/2010/03/miscellaneous-updates.html
Sunday, March 28, 2010. It's been a while since I've posted here, and a lot has happened! Well, two major things, really. For one, I got a job! The extra time also allows me to keep working on my latest project: vegaroo! Basically I've started it to be a hub for all things vegan and Australian. So it's a blog, a restaurant guide (which may look familiar to those of you who've used Veg Table. Event listings, and hopefully more. So what's to become of Vegan@Large? Vegan@Large: Customer Service Fail at Wholefoods House
http://veganatlarge.blogspot.com/2010/03/customer-service-fail-at-wholefoods.html
Customer Service Fail at Wholefoods House. Wednesday, March 3, 2010. I've been having a hard time figuring out where to buy, among other things, bulk foods in Sydney at a reasonable cost. So I thought I'd struck gold when I happened upon organic suppliers, Wholefoods House. After my experience there today, however, I will not be returning. Here's why. A practice that's not only better for the environment but saves them money on supplying packaging. March 3, 2010 at 5:58 PM. Im going to send an email to W...

Vegan@Large: February 2010
http://veganatlarge.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. I ended up actually missing Valentine's Day in transit, but once I arrived in Sydney Tim and I had our own V-day dinner at Bodhi. In Hyde Park. It was one of the more spontaneous things I've ever done and we'd likely not be living here now had I not taken the chance. And now I love living in a country that celebrates that sense of adventure. How rad is that? If you're in San Francisco you can get your own baked goods fix at the next SF Vegan Bake Sale. Links to this post.

Vegan@Large: Week One
http://veganatlarge.blogspot.com/2010/02/week-one.html
Sunday, February 7, 2010. Yes, we've made it to Sydney. Apologies for the delay in updating, but we've discovered that fast, free wifi connections are something we've left behind in San Francisco. The good news of this story is that (fingers crossed) we think we've found an apartment! I'm not sure what neighborhood I'd compare it to in San Francisco. It's got the nice restaurants and bars of the Mission, but a bit more grown-up. But it doesn't seem to be overrun with strollers like Noe Valley and...Most ...

Little Bird needs a little help to open at Britomart | An Auckland Vegan
https://aucklandvegan.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/little-bird-needs-a-little-help-to-open-at-britomart
Food and other good stuff for vegans in Auckland, New Zealand. Little Bird needs a little help to open at Britomart. Is one of the most exciting things that’s happened to vegan eating in Auckland over the last few years, and they have just announced a new exciting project: their third Unbakery, at Britomart. This means that Little Bird needs your help. They’ve launched a PledgeMe. You can check out more detail about the project, and add your pledge, on PledgeMe. February 17, 2015. Vegan@Large: Sydney, Here We Come!
http://veganatlarge.blogspot.com/2010/01/sydney-here-we-come.html
Sydney, Here We Come! Thursday, January 28, 2010. Well, after a perhaps unsurprisingly frustrating immigration process, I'm happy to announce that Tim and I have gotten our approved visas and are flying out to Sydney this Saturday night! Due to the time change, we'll arrive early Monday morning. It promises to be a fun-filled day dealing with customs, going to the immigration offices, getting new cell phone plans, and opening bank accounts. And Bodhi in the Park. Alternatively, for my Bay Area friends, h...

Vegan@Large: Killer Kale Recipes
http://veganatlarge.blogspot.com/2009/07/killer-kale-recipes.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Every now and then I have to take a break from promotion Veg Table. To actually eat. I'm trying to eat healthier and lose a bit of weight because summer, bathing suits, weddings, blah blah blah. I don't really need an excuse to add healthier meals to my diet. So because I'm trying to eat lighter, smaller portions, I'm trying to work in foods that are dense in nutrients. Like kale! You're just losing nutrients and adding fat. So here are a few ways I sneak it into my dishes.
