The Kesner Family: Feb 6, 2012
http://tawnykesner.blogspot.com/2012_02_06_archive.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. This year we decided to have Mariah and Chase enter the school's science fair. The kids have loved it. Mariah built (with help from Brian) two different towers and tested the strength of each of them. Chase did a experiment that involved sending a lego car loaded with a raw egg down a ramp at different inclines. We bring them to the school tomorrow morning and will have the fair on Thursday. Here we are testing the strength of the tower. Mariah added sand to the bucket, litt...

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. But it wasn't exactly easy. Brian has put in alot of hours to pull this off. The walls of the pantry had 2 vents, a cold air return, electricity wiring, and were load bearing. Sounds like a wall that shouldn't come down, huh? The pantry when we bought the house. This is taken from the kitchen. Demolition day. The dry wall is gone. Now we can see all the projects looming in our near future. The view of "the wall," as we've termed the project, from the dining room.

The next chapter of our lives Val and Darlene Farmer. Sunday, September 9, 2012. On the way to Lake Hovsgol. Last week we had the opportunity to travel to Lake Hovsgol. We are fortunate because not all missionaries get this opportunity. Part of our responsibilities is to travel to all the main church branches outside of Ulaanbaatar. This takes us to east, west and north Mongolia. You can read Elder Farmer’s blog, Musings in Mongolia, for a spectacular photo show of Lake Hovsgol. Richardsons' Humanitarian...

The next chapter of our lives Val and Darlene Farmer. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Young Single Adult conference. It feels like we’ve been on our mission here in Mongolia a lot longer than seven weeks . Our experiences have been many and varied. We returned on Monday morning from a family history training trip in Erdenet and the Young Single Adult’s conference. The train stopped in the middle of nowhere about 5:00 am and the whole group disembarked. Thankfully, there were extra hands to help with some o...

http://tawnykesner.blogspot.com/2013/05/a-dedicated-mother-and-sweet-daughter.html
Monday, May 13, 2013. A dedicated mother and a sweet daughter. At the end of our visit. Tara, Ariuuna, Tawny, Ariuuna's mother, Nara, Nasa. A precious girl with a kind heart. Heading into Ariuuna's home. They built this home themselves. It's basically one large room with part of it designated as a kitchen and the other part a living room/bedroom. They have an outhouse within their fenced in property. There are wires brought into the home for electricity. Reading the letter from my girls. Anyways, I can h...

Monday, May 28, 2012. This is something I wrote for Chase's kindergarten teacher back in September. Mrs. Meyer had asked for some information about each child. He just finished full-day kindergarten last week. He had a wonderful year and adjusted very well. Here are some of Chase's newborn shots. Chase gets completely "into" any projects we do. He had fun dying Easter eggs and turned his hands sparkly green in the process. One of our few snowy days this winter. Check out that strawberry. I love you Chase!
