Breakfast in Japan, lunch in Dubai, 5pm Tea in UK, Dinner in USA, Party in Fiji. Sunday, December 14, 2008. Today, a friend of mine who attended the final interview with me on the same day, has received his "golden" call from Emirates. He will be joining them on February 20th. I am so excited for him. The guy was very nervous during the whole selection process; and yet he deserved to get a positive answer. Great job, Miguel! I am proud of you! When will you hear? December 15, 2008 at 5:26 AM.

Fly DJ, Fly!: Hello Patience, are you there?
http://flydjfly.blogspot.com/2010/07/hello-patience-are-you-there.html
Fly DJ, Fly! There's only one way for me, UP! Thursday, July 22, 2010. Hello Patience, are you there? I have always fathomed myself as an individual who is highly skilled in the art of diplomacy whilst being equipped with an abundance of patience; however, recently, i've noticed a slight change that threatens to abolish these "gifts" of mine. I've encountered most of these personalities and I must say, some instances definitely test your patience and professionalism. I'm just baffled by the fact that I e...

Fly DJ, Fly! There's only one way for me, UP! Saturday, May 1, 2010. Flight Attendant dream status: On hold. You got that right, I'm officially putting my FA dream on hold due to some issues I have to deal with. Yes my dear readers - if I have any. haha - I went to the dentist a while ago to have my braces attached. Braces as we all know is a major NO-NO in the FA industry - well, for most airlines - due to some safety issues not only during training but also in the actual aircraft itself. I still have n...

Fly DJ, Fly!: March 2010
http://flydjfly.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Fly DJ, Fly! There's only one way for me, UP! Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The return of 5J. You read that right! Cebu Pacific's back in business (in terms of OD's). Equipped with a cinnamon roll and a bottle of soy milk for breakfast, I venture off to cyberland to start my day. The reason why i'm munching on this as i'm typing is because I just woke up and I need the sugar to energize me a bit. Though, I don't think I need the extra kick anymore. Why you ask? The mere fact that they're re-hiring MALE.

http://clauderic.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Flying with friends and LAZYNESS. The past four weeks was Ramadan in Dubai , basically all muslim who are healthy fast from sunrise to sunset, then devour everything there is possible to eat! This is even more felt when I do a flight and we land before sunset and the fasting customers seem to go crazy and urge us to feed them? Make up your mind, no time for double standard here! Next stop San Francisco, a 50 hour layover but a 15 hour flight or more! C to the G. Or it's jus...

Wednesday, March 10, 2010. This is getting absurd and I am not proud of my self, then again, human nature is to procrastinate until that very last breath . I don't even know where to begin, so I will just go with the flow of thoughts that come to me. First of all I changed accommodations and moved in with Deon. And another batch-mate of mine, to much better conditions that fit perfectly our foolish ways of living :) No more Mexico border crossing for us to get food or groceries! How ever I must add, why ...

Breakfast in Japan, lunch in Dubai, 5pm Tea in UK, Dinner in USA, Party in Fiji. Friday, December 12, 2008. Final Interview with EK. The interview itself is nothing but a coffee-like chit-chat. In my case, we spent about 20 minutes chatting. The recruiters were very nice and friendly. Here is the list of some of the questions I was asked:. 1) Why do you want to work for Emirates? What was the outcome? 3)Give an example when your initiative worked. 5)Give example when you did not obey the authority. Tell ...
