Dressing for the ride. 1 July, 2015. I’m not really a fan of cycling-specific clothing. It just seems rather unnecessary, and a bit of a faff to get changed at work, when my commute is only 6km. I generally dress for the destination, not the ride. But when the weather heats up, as it has over the last couple of days, it can start to become uncomfortable riding in my usual office-casual clothes. I gazed longingly at the other cycles in shorts, and wished that I too could feel a cooling breeze on my legs.
