We celebrated Brooklyn's birthday on the 23, of September at her house in Washington, Ut.Her step Tanner was present as were Aunt Teresa and Uncle Mort and there daughter Lacy. It did rain very hard the night of the 4th so they had to find places on the floor in the living room. We missed not seeing the rest of the family, poor Krystin had chicken pox so Lonnie and Debbie thought they should stick around home. Next year. I forgot my camera so no pictures. Good Times, Great Oldies

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Our minds keep us safe. Then comes my mind to the rescue. pushing away those thoughts and feelings to keep me sane. Is it a blessing or a curse? I don't know yet. Some days it's a relief not to be burdened by the sadness. Some days I wonder, though, if it's really beneficial. I will have to go through all that pain at some point, am I just prolonging it? Love At Home

Thursday, October 13, 2011. Coming Out of Retirement. Its been almost a year and I guess its time to update the blog. Everyone needs a blogging break now and then. A lot has happened to the Butlers in the last 10months. I won’t bore you with 50 different updates and 500 photos. Here’s a basic run down…. Dusty graduated from UND with Bachelor of Science in Commercial Aviation. Dusty commissioned as a 2. Lieutenant for the Army. We finally got out of North Dakota. Moved in Dallas in May for the summer.
