Mr Dye's Socratic Seminar (2008-2009). There was an error in this gadget. Friday, October 24, 2008. The Origin of Heaven and Guilt. Ms Evans was a guest speaker in my 7th period class this week. She spoke about the origins of some of the basic concepts of Western thought: Heaven, Guilt, History, and the Messianic Tradition. I am posting a summary of her lecture here for those who are interested. I think her thoughts are very helpful for understanding the Medieval period. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, September 29, 2008. I was so happy that we got to do the Islam projects! They were so much fun! I loved learning about there culture and people. I learned so much more than i would have on my own. It was amazing to me how much they cared for the poor and those who are in need. I loved how Masa came and talked to us about how they prayed 5 times a day and how devoted they were to their religion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I love all my fam and friends! http://moriah-cow.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Why should the students read it next year? Monday, October 13, 2008. I thought that the way that the Canterbury Tales were writin was very cool because it was the first of its kind. It was writin in old english and most of the books were writin in latin. I thought that it was weird that the rich people read it because they thought that old english was not a very proper way to talk. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I love all my fam and friends!

Kawaii Marie: Death by Drowning

http://kawiimarie.blogspot.com/2008/10/death-by-drowning.html

Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Water clod and dark rushing through my lungs. I am cold. I wish I could see light again. I want to be freed from this dark and cold prison. Falling through darkness wondering why I have to die this way. No air in my lungs. Death has overcome me. Not breathing not here anymore. I have left my body. I am no longer cold. I feel as if I have been reborn. Free from my body. I am watching my body below while I am in the sky. I am dead while every one hopes I am alive. I see a light.
