East Cork Athletic Club was founded in November of 1985 in an effort to amalgamate the constituent senior clubs within the East Cork Athletic Board region. The first chairman was Fr. Liam O Brien from Sacred Heart College, Carrignavar and the founding secretary was Paul Mulholland from Midleton AC. The Men s National Inter Club road relay title was won in 1991 and 1997.

The club meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm at Midleton CBS and at 10.00am on Saturday mornings in Walshtown Woods. The Saturday morning training takes the form of a hills session and the duration is approx. 50 mins. Walshtown Woods are located approx. 5 miles north of Midleton.

East Corinth Flea Market. East Corinth Flea Market - One of the Oldest Running Flea Markets in Vermont. 2016 Flea Market CANCELLED. I am sad to say that this event has been cancelled this year due to an extremely low number of vendors, as well as a low number of volunteers. I hope this event will be going strong next year! Once a year in July, East Corinth, Vermont holds one of the oldest running flea. The flea market is held on what is known as the "Old Fairgrounds", located off of Fairground Road.
