Fatty McFatterson from FatTown, Fatsburg, D.C. That stuck with me and I've been mindful of it ever since I began cooking for boyfriends. 2 medium-sized Russet potatoes (or 4-6 smaller red), skin on. 1/4 cup yellow onion, diced. 1/4 cup bacon*, chopped. 1t garlic, minced. 2-4 eggs, your choice. Salt, pepper, paprika to taste. 2T butter and/or oil. Melt 1/3 of the butter into a non-stick 10" skillet. Half potatoes, then slice into 1/4" (at most) pieces, add to pan. Add bacon until well cooked but not crispy.

Truly, excellent. A win for the ongoing war in creating and propagating good food! What if, along with that win and the fame and the import and the elbow-rubbing, comes. well. snobbery? What if an inflated sense of self and mission greets diners the second they sit down? Behavioral modifications for a casual restaurant?

Three Legged Goat Race. Monday, March 7, 2011. Thai Beef with Basil. The Clothes Make the Girl. I made another version with chicken. 1 lb extra-lean ground beef. A handful of fresh basil leaves. 1-2 garlic cloves, crushed. 1 Heat some fat in a pan over medium-high. I like coconut oil. 2 Sprinkle ground beef with salt and pepper, then brown in the pan. 3 When the meat is browned, add green beans, basil leaves, and the crushed garlic (If you don't have fresh garlic, use garlic powder or leave it out).

I’m a sunshine lover, anyway, so I’m finding this year to be particularly challenging. I recently created an ATC that shares my need for sunlight. This ATC changes color when exposed to the sun!
