Not only is buying in-season produce less expensive, but generally carries more nutritents as well (especially if it is locally grown). By eating in-season, you never really have a chance to get tired of a food. fruits and vegetables are coming in and out of season constantly! Monday, January 24, 2011. Peanut Soba Noodles with Veggies. This is one of my favorite dishes. I went into the ethnic section and found buckwheat soba noodles which inspired me to create a peanut and veggie noodle dish. 1 pkg Buckwheat Soba Noodles. 2-3 Tbsp light soy sauce. 1 tsp red pepper flakes. Hot sauce to taste. Cook the soba noodles per package. Run under cool water and drain. Add to a large bowl and add veggies. Pour the dressing over noodles and veggies. Serve chilled.
