Am I The Only One Thinking This?: Not My Job
http://onlyonethinking.blogspot.com/2012/06/not-my-job.html
Am I The Only One Thinking This? You know you are, too! Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Over the years, I have held many jobs, only a few of which I was actually prepared or educated for, the rest I just kind of fell into and they stuck for a while. I have developed a rather lengthy list of jobs I firmly believe I would suck at. 2 Doctor or Nurse. I don't have the patience for that amount of school, for starters. I am not entirely squicked out by blood and gore, but I avoid it whenever I can. Crookston, Minnesota...

Am I The Only One Thinking This?: And Now, For The News
http://onlyonethinking.blogspot.com/2012/06/and-now-for-news.html
Am I The Only One Thinking This? You know you are, too! Friday, June 22, 2012. And Now, For The News. I love the media, I am a news junkie of the first water. I compulsively watch the various news channels, I check several websites on a more than once daily basis, I still read magazines and newspapers. I MUST KNOW THINGS! Yes, I consider Jon Stewart a news guy, watch his show sometime, it is not only hilariously funny, but really quite informative. Anderson Cooper's just so darn cute! I love headlines...

Am I The Only One Thinking This?: Getting It Together
http://onlyonethinking.blogspot.com/2012/12/getting-it-together.html
Am I The Only One Thinking This? You know you are, too! Thursday, December 6, 2012. It has been quite a gap between posts, my apologies. I try hard to keep the tone light and my posts non political, I found that difficult to do this past election cycle so I guess it was easier to not post. Sucked it up and carried on because there was work to do. Why is it we got that lesson in the fourth grade and the leaders of our country can't manage to apply the same tactics to running the country? Barats And Bereta...

Am I The Only One Thinking This?: The Hard Part
http://onlyonethinking.blogspot.com/2012/07/hard-part.html
Am I The Only One Thinking This? You know you are, too! Saturday, July 14, 2012. I normally keep the tone of my blog light, occasionally straying into more serious territory. Today is one one of those times. I lost someone special this week, my cousin Paul. He had struggled with depression for many years and this week, it won. It was the 80s.shut up. I loved him and I will miss him forever. Really touching Libby. I knew him from spending time at your house and agree he was a very charismatic person&#...

Am I The Only One Thinking This?: They Eat Their Own
http://onlyonethinking.blogspot.com/2012/05/they-eat-their-own.html
Am I The Only One Thinking This? You know you are, too! Tuesday, May 29, 2012. They Eat Their Own. We don't start as the embodiment of pure, unmitigated evil, but we manage to become perfect killing machines by the age of twelve. We have no formal training, there is no guidebook, but somehow, we simply know which arrows to let fly and they always, ALWAYS find their target. How do we do that? Why do we do that? I think we should get back to playing dress up more. Sometimes the mean girl comes back around ...

My kids roll their eyes and try to act all cool and long suffering when I get happy about an awesome song coming on at the grocery store (the music is getting SO good there! I love being a dork, I married a dork, I surround myself with dorks because they're the most fun. I even like the word. Say it out loud "dork". It's fun to say. Don't be so cool.JOIN US! Finding Foodie: July 2009
http://findingfoodie.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 8, 2009. What we ate: 4th of July. Our contributions were simple:. Breakfast Burritos were what you'd expect- eggs, sausage, potatoes, onions, salsa, cheese. What makes them special is cooking them outside and eating them by a campfire. That's a good reason to get up off the floor of a tent in the morning. Sausages were from Kramarczuk's. There was other food of course- steaks with baked potatoes and sauteed mushrooms, chicken salad with grapes, gas station coffee and Guinness.

Finding Foodie: Dip.
http://findingfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/01/dip.html
Thursday, January 13, 2011. I could survive on dip, I am quite certain. Chips and dip, fancy crackers and dip, bread and dip. I am a dip fanatic. More often than not I like a good tortilla chip with my dip. I like the crunch, the salt, the perfect vehicle for whatever I'm eating. Potato chips? Meh I'll take some toasty corn goodness. It's definitely dip season. Thanksgiving, Christmas, late family Christmas with my dad's family in January. I'll bring dip, but which one? Is my repertoire getting old?

Finding Foodie: Book Club?
http://findingfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/03/book-club.html
Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Since I'm in the middle (well, almost middle) of another pregnancy where the things I can eat borderline on totally unhealthy (chips and Frito's Spicy Bean Dip anyone? And really unappetizing I'm going to try and at least THINK about good food. You know, the stuff I used to spend hours reading cookbooks, magazines and websites to find. But right now it's not going to happen- a moderate case of HG. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We Are Not Martha. Taste With the Eyes.
