Jamie and Micah went to the fireworks store and picked out $7 worth sparklers to get an experience of his first time shooting off fireworks. He was pretty impressed with the bottle rockets and such until our neighbors fireworks made ours look like a total joke. HA! Griffin and his brothers. We spent the week of June 16-23 at the beach in Isle of Palms, SC with Pop and Chaz, Bebe, Lacy and Max, Chaz's kids, Katie and Conner, and their two friends. It was a wonderful week- perfect weather, a great house with a pool, the beautiful beach, and family to share it with. Griffin and his brothers. By the end of January, we had only seen a few sporadic snowflakes floating around on a couple of days, and I was giving up hope that we would get any snow days. The boys all had their Valentine's Day parties at school on February 13. Little did we know that they wouldn't go back to school until March! And got a couple more days off from school. We'd spent the first week cooped up inside most of the time so we were glad to be able to get out and play.finally!

Griffin and his brothers. We were supposed to have a family birthday dinner at Chuck E. Cheese on the night of his birthday, but we postponed it until the following night to make sure he would be fully recovered and ready to party. He definitely was! He had been asking for months to go to Chuck E. Cheese, and he got so excited when we pulled in the parking lot and he saw the sign. And the inside lived up to his expectations, too- he loved all of the rides and games! I can't believe my sweet boy is three!

Griffin and his brothers. All Aboard for Birthday Fun! Baylor and Hudson are one! When we found out we were having twins, everyone we talked to who had twins told us just to survive the first year and it would get much easier. It's hard to believe, but we have officially made it. The babies started their special day at the ballpark for Griffin's first coach-pitch baseball game. Baylor and Hudson did. Like their birthday hats.but they quickly. Forgot about them once they got some cake on their trays.

Griffin and his brothers. We started celebrating Halloween a week early with Trunk or Treat at Aunt Lacy's church. Griffin was very shy about going up to people and saying "trick or treat" so it was probably good that we got some practice. Unlike last year when I had 3 or 4 costumes for Griffin, we only had one dog costume this Halloween so we put together a makeshift cowboy costume for the Trunk or Treat. At Mimi and Papaw Al's house.
