What Photography Taught Me about God. December 5, 2014. December 5, 2014. The point being, you don’t just take a camera out of the box and start taking stunning photos right away. Until you really start learning when to do what and explore the manual modes do the photos really start catching someone’s eye. It isn’t the camera that makes a beautiful image. The camera is a tool. The person behind that tool is who makes a beautiful image. A couple weeks ago I wrote a blog post titled. Unexpectedly it went v...

Why You Should Stop Being Ashamed of Jesus |
http://www.danielwildeblog.com/why-you-should-stop-being-ashamed-of-jesus
Why You Should Stop Being Ashamed of Jesus. A few years ago, my cousin and brother were in the middle of nowhere in eastern Montana. It was Thanksgiving weekend and they were invited on an annual family pheasant hunting trip for the first time. Not really knowing what they’re doing, my grandpa drops them off to walk up a slough and tells them he’ll meet them at the end. 8220;But whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.” –. But still, sometimes I find myself being ...

Becoming Visible | Can Anybody Hear Me?

Can Anybody Hear Me? Uncovered Myself One Pound at a Time; Still Discovering Myself One Day at a Time. Skip to primary content. April 24, 2015. I have another confession to make: I never expected to become this visible. And, I’m scared. I’m afraid of writing something dumb in this next post. I’m afraid of gaining weight and it being much more public than I could’ve anticipated. I’m afraid of not being worthy of you all reading my words. Of being heard. I don’t know how many of you will stick around...

Disconnecting to get connected | Cherries & Chisme

Disconnecting to get connected. April 22, 2015. April 17, 2015. Pip {Cherries & Chisme}. I’ve written before about our obsession with social media and technology. And it’s still something I think about regularly today. The amount of time throughout each that I pick up my phone to flick absentmindly through Instagram or read a blog post whilst waiting for a bus is probably a little bit ridiculous. But lately I’ve noticed I’ve started to do that less and less, and it feels amazing. And I always will be, dr...

They'll understand - - Lindsay's List. LOSE THE BABY WEIGHT. Because it's fun to mark through things. June 3, 2014. I learn something new almost every day. Like just yesterday I learned that if we have another baby, Clara would like to name it Jemily. Except when she says it, it sounds like Jem-a-yee. Gender neutral. Naturally. And as I learn and grow in my adulthood, I’m finding that. I have less time to worry about what others think. Less time to fret over getting approval. And less desire to please.
