Friday, September 24, 2010. Katelyn is the most wonderful. Little helper around the house. She really loves to help cook, do laundry, sweep, do dishes, get the mail.just about everything there is to do around the house. She just doesn't like vacuuming. The vacuum currently scares. Friday, October 12, 2012. Although it isn't evident from my blog activity for the last several months, we are alive and well. We have been busy. There is too much to catch up on in one post. I'll start with our family vacation 3 weeks ago. We went to DISNEY WORLD! Since Disney World is near and dear to my heart it seems appropriate to begin there. Friday, August 19, 2011. Earlier this week Andrew lost his cord and got his first real bath. He was not particularly pleased at first. But calmed down after a while. He reverted back to his initial state of panic if we weren't holding hands. That made bathing him a bit more tricky. Katelyn loves her brother, and she likes to help take care of him. She was excited to help with the bath, and I let her be the official photographer for a while. Here are samples of her work. :). I sure love these cute kids!

Tuesday, December 13, 2011. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. We went to Nauvoo, IL for Thanksgiving and once Thanksgiving dinner was done, it was free range on Christmas music. Of course Katelyn was willing to oblige with her rendition of Jingle Bells. We're not sure why/how she got the "super-sleigh," but she's sure a cutie! December 14, 2011 at 9:24 AM. Sunday, September 25, 2011. I have been a neglectful blogger. My little man has grown a ton already. He's 7 weeks old, in 3-6 month clothes, smiling and cooing, and starting to go a little longer between feedings at night. I have been incredibly sleep deprived, which has a lot to do with my lack of postings. Sleep is a much higher priority (when my kids are both sleeping) than writing a blog post. All ready to go. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. I had another ultrasound today to check on our baby, so I thought I'd give you all another update. Although they were fairly sure at the last ultrasound, we are now positive our baby is a little boy. At 19 1/2 weeks our baby boy is growing normally. His major organs look good and are in correct places, and that is a positive. We'll have the echocardiogram in a couple weeks to look at his heart in great detail. Thursday, March 10, 2011. Friday, December 17, 2010. Katelyn has been obsessed with the letter "O" for quite some time. She finds o's everywhere. I was a proud mom knowing that she has at least one letter down. Yesterday I came home from a night out with some terrific friends and Jason told me Katelyn had pointed out the "O" and "U" on his sweatshirt. I was impressed, because I didn't know that she knew a second letter. She pointed to the P right as I was about to say, "She doesn't know that letter." It continued as follows:.

Monday, April 25, 2011. Excited about singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" as a family tonight. She especially likes to sing it faster and faster. After about 38 times through the song it occurred to me that I might actually be able to get something on video for once.
