A Short Meditation on New York City Dog Pee. July 27, 2015. Anyone who can afford to leave New York City during peak summer months goes somewhere else. They go to the Hamptons. Or the Jersey Shore. Where a third of the male population is named Anthony. We go to California. Is the dog pee smell. You ask, that you have to go 2,700 miles west just to escape it? More than once because it will be near my apartment, perusing the shelves at City Lights. This entry was posted in California. Life in New Jersey.

My Inner Sunset: Academy of Science
http://myinnersunset.blogspot.com/2008/10/academy-of-science.html
Memoirs of MailLady Martha of a career delivering mail in San Francisco. Monday, October 13, 2008. My friend Tom has alerted me to this Sunset Magazine article about the newly-opened Academy of Science. We haven't seen it yet, but certainly intend to! The museum is within minutes of my mail delivery route, across from the DeYoung Museum in SF's Golden Gate Park. I notice at the tail end of the article it mentions the Ebisu restaurant, located at 1283-9th Ave. Links added by me. Links to this post:.

Munch DC: October 2007

Tuesday, October 9, 2007. SF Trip Meal #5: Ebisu. Has been honored by locals with numerous best sushi awards, making it the perfect spot for my last meal. Rushing to the airport, I didn’t have time to grab a seat at the pleasant sushi bar, but phoned in for a Sushi Dinner to go ($11.99, served with Miso Soup). The spot was bustling, with an inviting classic sushi bar/wood pane décor, friendly waitresses, and some sushi chef’s lording over the bar like they knew what they were doing. Links to this post.
