Friday, 23 August 2013. Coast to Coast Day 5 Thornthwaite to Workington. Day 5 - 24.0 miles - 1440 ft elevation. We set off from Thornthwaite for our last day of cycling. Just up the road we had to take the steep off road climb up through Wythorpe Woods. After we had got to the top it was plain sailing through to Cockermouth. Sunday, 23 June 2013. Coast to Coast fundraising cycle. Coast to Coast fundraising cycle! This summer I will be cycling from South Shields to Workington to raise money for my charity trip to. The total distance will be approximately 130 miles. We will be cycling on mountain bikes over 5 days and each night we will be camping. Day 1: South Shields to Consett. 25 miles - 300 meters climb. Day 2: Consett to Allenheads. 22 miles - 400 meters climb. Day 3: Allenheads to Langwathby. 28 miles - 800 meters climb.

Saturday, July 12, 2014. Three posts in one day- yay! After we finished talking, we were able to purchase small gifts at the market. Everything we bought was made by the patients, and the proceeds go directly back to them to use as they wish.
