Monday, March 16, 2009. I have to be honest, I absolutely loved. I could not wait for Thursday nights at 8:00 pm to watch it. The article entitled,. Masculinities on The O.C. Cg 28, pg. 454 - 462), made me realize that the show had many indirect gender stereotyped messages. I believe that it is very important to properly educate students to critically look at media. I was a teenager when I watched. And I was completely oblivious to the fact that the show represented males and females in the way they did.
