Edible Sensations: SMOOTHIE!
http://ediblesensations.blogspot.com/2011/02/smoothie.html
Sunday, February 13, 2011. So very happy I have an immersion blender! Handful of frozen blueberries. 1/3 cup or 1/2 cup yogurt. Maybe more, I haven't actually measured it. A splash of orange juice. 1 banana, chopped up. Anyone have any other smoothie recipes? I'm especially interested in green smoothies with spinach or something. I encourage you to get creative. Edible Sensations: October 2008
http://ediblesensations.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 25, 2008. How could I not make cookies called Butter Balls. It's the best cookie name ever! Okay, these are more than tasty, they're damn tasty. They're butter ballin'. 1/2 cup slivered almonds. Cook at 375 for 20 minutes. They won't really be brown but they'll be done. Let them dry completely before moving them off the sheet, otherwise they crumble. Monday, October 13, 2008. Somedays, you need something incredibly easy, but also incredibly delicious. Sunday, was one of those days.

Edible Sensations: February 2010
http://ediblesensations.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. It's been TOO long my friends, just too, too long! Here are a few of my current food obsessions:. This is a pretty awesome way to prepare tofu. It can either be made with some curry sauce and veggies and served with rice for a big meal or just eaten on it's own. Super Easy Dal (aka red lentils) and Rice. 1/2 cup red lentils (or dal! 1 1/2 cup veggie broth (or a combination of broth and water). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, July 16, 2009. Look at this revival of food blog! Now if only I could get all my other friends post.OH WELL. Alison and I made Coconut Curried Tofu with Green Jasmine Rice a few weeks ago. It was a little more complicated of a recipe than I usually go for, but it was darn good! Coconut Curried Tofu with Green Jasmine Rice. 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut. 1 3/4 cups water. 1 cup jasmine or basmati rice. 1 cup (packed) coarsely chopped fresh cilantro. 1/2 cup unsweetened light coconut milk.

Have a Nice Trip See You Next Fall: Miradouros
http://haveanicetripseeyounextfall.blogspot.com/2009/06/miradouros.html
Friday, June 12, 2009. I forgot to mention one crazy coincidence from the Lisbon trip. When Alex and I were at the airport going back to England we ran into a friend who had stayed in our hostel room in Barcelona with us for two nights! How crazy is that? He is from Brazil studying in Spain and happened to be in Lisbon and at the airport the same time as two Americans also in Lisbon at the same time! It was so nice to see him again out of nowhere, quite an awesome coincidence! View my complete profile.

Have a Nice Trip See You Next Fall: May 2009
http://haveanicetripseeyounextfall.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2009. I have realized that when I do things I need to blog about them right away because when I put it off I totally loose the motivation and interest in writing about them. But anyway on Wednesday, very very bright and early Jenny and I set off on a nice long train ride to Stratford Upon Avon, which is not only Shakespeare's birthplace, but Jenny lived there for a year when she was 7 so that was her main motivation for going back and I figured "why not come along on the journey? It was a...

Have a Nice Trip See You Next Fall: Looking Back....
http://haveanicetripseeyounextfall.blogspot.com/2009/09/looking-back.html
Sunday, September 13, 2009. I was just looking at my ical and thought how funny it was to see the difference between my MCAD and Brighton schedules. Brighton schedule basically = footie matches. Mcad schedule basically = lack of life due to work. I sure could use some BREATHING SPACE now! But freal, i wish we couldve gone. :( BIG REGRET. :(. September 14, 2009 at 2:55 PM. Haha thats so funny - your thursdays dont look fun - hope all is well with you! September 14, 2009 at 9:29 PM. View my complete profile.

Thursday, February 26, 2009. LFC 1 - 0 RMCF. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Since people seem to be interested in it, I figured I'd post some images from my Community Arts class today. These are from some exercises we have done over the last few weeks. Also, since our eventual final product will be mask images, we brainstormed on titles for our project and here are some of the more memorable suggestions the kids and us came up with. Too good! Have a Nice Trip See You Next Fall: Lisbon Love
http://haveanicetripseeyounextfall.blogspot.com/2009/06/lisbon-love.html
Thursday, June 11, 2009. Sorry this has taken me so long, I've been super busy working on very exciting things at my work placement, but anyway here goes:. Once when I was talking to my friend Marin (who I love and who is hilarious), we were discussing Portugal and she said this: "oh well what is there to do except get tan n be gay? Let me say that as much as I love to make fun of Ronaldo, there is sooo much more than that! We walked around and found ourselves at the top of the giant Elevador da Bica whi...

Yesterday Ally took Jenny and I on a wonderful day trip through something like 6 or 7 different counties in England! First we drove to Tylney Hall in Hook, which was just absolutely incredible! Thanks for such a fun day, Ally! Saturday, April 18, 2009. I had a lot of fun though, I swear! It was really cute! It was...

Eat With The Seasons
Eat With The Seasons. Culinary Letters Between Northern and Southern California. Sunday, November 28, 2010. I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air. Except when in the kitchen! But I digress. I purchased a brown paper bag of chanterelles, perfectly in season. And later on, after a hike in the Hollywood hills, this is what I made:. Chanterelles, Acorn Squash, and Japanese Yam on Polenta. I used the t...
