Friday, March 4, 2011. Not dead, still breathing. Been a while since I posted, so here's a couple new paintings, the nudes, from class with Zhaoming and then a painting of Hsin Yao I did last semester, which will inspire one of the characters for my (future) book project. Saturday, November 6, 2010. Skinny knight vs giant mushroom forest protector. I have a hunch on who's gonna win this one, but I won't tell you =]. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. So I'm taking a pastel drawing class this semester, and it turns out it's a very interesting medium. It's more forgiving than I thought actually, and it's colorful! I decided to take pictures of my process since it's a new medium for me and I'm sharing it here. It's basically what I took from Bill Maughan's demos and explanations plus the addition of different colors, which he hasn't covered in class yet, where we're kind of still supposed to use flesh tones.
