Saturday, February 1, 2014. Basketball skills getting sharper. Daniel has been learning more about basketball. Today he did have a meltdown after a scrimmage between his team and another. He didn't like that a friend of his was able to get around his guarding. I think most of the issue was the lack of sleep he had last night. Here's Daniel taking it to the hoop during practice. Monday, September 2, 2013. Creekside with the family for our 13th Anniversary. Daniel resting at the fountains. Went on the paddle boats. Daniel liked the ducks and we saw a snake too. Monday, March 31, 2014. In March we celebrated Corey's 16th birthday. He was able to come and stay for the weekend. We had a great time celebrating with him. We look forward to the end of the school year so he can come live with us permanently. Slate Run Living Historical Farm. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Daniel's 3rd report card. We received Daniel's school report card and he is doing great. They grade on scale of 1 -3. 1 being needing improvement, 2 - Needing to be consistent, and 3 - Doing great. Daniel had mostly 3's and a few 2's. The 2's were mostly about listening and following directions. He's a clown and we know listening is definitely something he needs to improve on. So we're going to have to work harder on that.
