Friday, December 20, 2013. He loves to play with the toy bee and notices when the camera comes for a picture! Look how strong she is as she sits, supporting her body on her own. These two love to talk to one another and coo. He loves exploring the keys and even putting them in his mouth to explore them. Use mouth and tongue to explore objects. She loved playing with the toy turkey around Thanksgiving. We like to play together and strengthen our muscles in our arms and fingers. Mrs Penny loves her infants!

Monday, April 8, 2013. Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! We started off March with a week dedicated to Dr. Suess. We read many different Dr. Suess books like "Cat in the Hat", "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish", and "Fox in Socks.". The students learned all about measurement and used a cut out of their own foot to measure different items in the classroom. We spent the rest of March talking about Spring. Thursday, July 18, 2013. The Zoo presents 'Wings of Wonder'. The Cincinnati Zoo came to our school! We learned about birds and even got to pet a penguin! The video is of a Kookaburra making some loud noise. Owl feathers, very soft. The feathers belonged to this owl. ELCa place for childhood! Parts of a Car. During the first day of our car lesson we explored the inside of my car. We found many things that a car has and what those things do. This compartment had a car jack in it. Buttons that move the seat.

Friday, June 29, 2012. Making a sunflower garden. In the spring the kids planted a sunflower garden. They went outside to find sticks. They used the sticks to dig holes for the seeds. Everyone picked several spots and planted their sunflower seeds. Then we waited.and waited, and waited. The sunflowers have come up and are growing so fast now! It shouldn't be much longer until we have some big yellow sunflowers in the garden. Finding the perfect stick. Making holes for the seeds with the sticks.
