Monday, November 22, 2010. A Time For Everything. Ecclesiates 3:1 says "There's a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.". Those words were especially poignant in our growing family this weekend. Nick's grandpa Don passed away earlier this week. His funeral was Saturday, however Nick and I didn't quite make it. Monday, April 25, 2011. Too Small for Easter Eggs. While it may be that we'll have to wait at least another year before Connor can really enjoy a good, old-fashioned Easter Egg hunt, it's never too early, to enjoy an Easter Basket! It did appear, at first, that he was much more interested in examining his feet than his basket, but after a little bit, he seemed to get the hang of it. First, he had to test out the stuffed frog. Send client 1 home still in early labor. Drive home to rest up. Answer no less than a dozen phone calls and texts from various clients. Wake up and to birthcenter to meet client 1 in early labor again. Still at birthcenter with client 1, attempt to leave student midwife in charge so I can catch short nap.
