The Long Road Home. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Orphanage Visit and Finding Spot March 28, 2012. Our destination for the day is the Fuzhou Children Welfare Center, Fu z. After all of that excitement we took the 2 hour bus ride home. Kathryn, still wide awake was just snuggling with me, talking like she loves to do. The Long Road Home. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Quiet Day March 29,2012. Between the park and the porcelain shop this took about 3 hours and after that we were done for the day. We headed back to the hotel and really didn't do much. I fed Kathryn and then she took a 3 hour nap. Maybe that is why she seemed a little off this morning. Not sure. Now for those of you who followed the blog when I was in Kathmandu will recall I do have a history of breaking things, or destroying things as I was kindly reminded by my friend Kim. On New Years Eve, we were suppose to go to a friend's house, but when we were getting ready to leave Connor got SUPER cranky, so we decided to stay home instead. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Connor's second month brought about some big changes for us. When he was about 1 1/2 months, my dad and stepmom drove us back to Florida so we could be home when J's ship pulled in. The drive is about nineteen hours (which we did in two days) and my little man did wonderfully. The most exciting thing that happened during Connor's second month was his daddy coming home! By the time he was a month old he weighed 8 pounds and 14 ounces! Here's some pictures of his first month!
