Forbes 2015 – Day 2. We woke up to blue skies, but quite windy conditions. The forecast was for winds to die down during the day, but strong chance of overdevelopment near Forbes. So the task was set to take us away from the bad weather, 185km. Olav and Olav were just before me in goal, while Thomas took a day off. Zack smoked the course and were the fastest by a good margin. We were hit by major weather on the way home, a massive gustfront almost ripped the gliders off the roof of the car. Results day 2;.

Adventures in Hang Gliding. Friday, October 31, 2014. A Day at the Beach with Tom and Tom. I drove to Cape Cod hoping for a soaring flight in my new paraglider. However the wind was too strong for a rookie like me. Luckily, I brought along a hang glider! I setup, launched, and bounced around the dunes for about an hour. Forbes 2016, task 2 summary. Forbes 2016, Training days. Forbes Flatlands 2018, day 7. Since I was first to tow I got to spend almost 2 hours in the air over the airport before the start of the task. I grouped up with Olav, Attila, Ollie, Tyler, and a few others, and we stuck around for the second start gate, 20 minutes behind the main gaggle. It was very nice to have a day where things work out without major mishaps. Olav and me flew together the whole flight. At goal day 7. Forbes Flatlands 2018, day 6.
