Coffee stuff and other stuff. It seems as though I write on this thing in spurts. I started buying coffee for Intelligentsia not too long ago. Pretty damn humbling experience. I was tasked with sourcing coffees from Mexico and this year I also joined a co-worker in Nicaragua. I have my own ambitions to find something nice in the Dominican Republic, but have yet to see a coffee sample break a solid 82/83 point threshold. By Me on July 8, 2012. One Response to “spurts”. http://kidliterary.blogspot.com/2008/03/can-it-really-be.html
Reviews of some good books you may have forgotten. and some you've never read. (Plus the occasional rant about writing or publishing). Saturday, March 22, 2008. Can it really be? I think I am suspending this blog, and moving my online life over to the blog at my new author site! I will still be reviewing books, and I will still be ranting (likely more often) about nothing in particular, and my writing life in detail. But I have too many blogs, so I want to smoosh them all together. May 17, 2009 at 5:48 PM.

Simone de Beauvoir: Twitterer and Blogger? - Sirish Prabhu
http://sirishprabhu.com/simone-de-beauvoir-twitterer-and-blogger
Simone de Beauvoir: Twitterer and Blogger? April 10, 2011. One of my favorite authors is Simone de Beauvoir. I read her book. Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter. Publishing has come a long way since de Beauvoir penned. She Came to Stay. In 1943. How would she have reacted to the idea of building a platform, Twitter or blogging? In my view, she would have been a brilliant blogger. Her letters to Sarte and other short pieces indicate that she would likely have garnered an immense following today. As we know, Tw...

Reviews of some good books you may have forgotten. and some you've never read. (Plus the occasional rant about writing or publishing). Saturday, March 1, 2008. What I am doing a pathetic, irregular attempt at accomplishing with this blog. Is being hysterically, successfully, wonderfully executed over at Fine Lines. Lizzie Skurnick is a wonder, and if you read YA/kidlit and you do not know this weekly feature, you are missing OUT! This week she's talking about Louise Fitzhugh's The Long Secret.

Reviews of some good books you may have forgotten. and some you've never read. (Plus the occasional rant about writing or publishing). Friday, February 15, 2008. Poetry Friday: Matthea Harvey. Okay, so I spent all week excited to post about the wonderful poets I read who are also beginning to write for kids. There are more and more of them!
