Monday, 5 November 2012. I'm Going to San Rafael and Perez Zeledon clarified. Sue Anne tells us she is going to visit friends in San Rafael. And asks "where is it? We have 47 San Rafaels in Costa Rica according to the last count . . . I have a tour of the San Rafaels of Costa Rica if you are interested. Every day we wake up in San Rafael and every night we sleep in another - you get to see the whole country yet always wake up in the same place. My taxi broke, gonna make a new one. Ah of course that one.

Sunday, 15 August 2010. COSTA RICAN MUSINGS - Addresses, Mail or lack of. ON THE COSTA RICAN CORREO (POSTAL SERVICE). A person considering doing business in Costa Rica wondered about using the local mail to ship stuff. This is a subject of much debate as Costa Rica has few street names, very few street signs and no real addresses. If you ask a Tico when was the last time they sent a letter, the odds on answer is "never". So many folks reaction to that is either disbelief or plain ole dumbfoundedness.
