I tried to run a 10K and had to slowly walk the 2nd half of the race. My legs felt like I had ace bandages wrapped snuggly around them, and just to walk was VERY laborious. I was so disappointed that day, but also felt some comfort in actually knowing what my limits were. 2) To try to enjoy life and reach for goals.
